Our Story
Oil & Water Deck Refinishing is a locally owned family business proudly serving the western metro of Minneapolis. Founded in 2008 by brothers Alex and Owen Sweeney, the company quickly built a reputation for craftsmanship, care, and consistent results, specializing in the power washing and oiling of exterior wood surfaces.
Since 2018, the company has been led by Eli Sweeney, a proud member of the Chanhassen community. Under Eli's leadership, Oil & Water has grown with a relentless focus on quality over shortcuts.
When he's not restoring decks, Eli is working toward a business degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato, bringing fresh energy and vision to a time-tested trade. At Oil & Water, we don't just refinish decks, we transform outdoor spaces with premium products and an obsessive attention to detail. We take pride in getting it right the first time and backing it up every step of the way.
